Image compressor
Make JPG, PNG and WebP images smaller, or turn them into WebP. It all happens in your browser, so your images never leave your device.
Good to know
Why WebP?
WebP files are usually 25–35% smaller than JPEGs that look the same, and every current browser shows them. Use it for anything that goes on a website.
Which quality?
Around 80 suits photos. Screenshots and graphics with text stay crisper at 90. If you can't spot a difference in the compare view, go lower.
Resize first
A 4000px photo in a 1200px slot wastes most of its weight. Set a max width to match where the image is shown: 1920 for full-width, 1280 or less for content.
Private by design
Nothing is uploaded. Your browser does the work, so it's as fast as your device and works offline once the page has loaded.
